Egyptian relief fragment of limestone, I Intermediate Period, 1500 B.C.

DESCRIPTION
The ancient Egyptians were constantly represented in their tombs, sarcophagi, as well as in temples and trousseaux. This fragment must have belonged to a tomb of the Second Intermediate Period, in which we can observe a high ruler sitting in front of his offering table, accompanied by four registers of hieroglyphics.
