Maternity in ancient cultures was the object of petition and prayer, so votive figurines were made in which women implored a productive maternity. These normally steatopygian figurines, in which the breasts and the rounded and feminine forms stand out, were used as mediation with the goddesses of the maternity and protectors of the childbirth. This figure in particular is very special because it combines the Hittite influence of bird-faced figures with prominent beak-shaped noses and maternal forms.
