A large Greek Hollow Terracotta Seated Goddess Statue, 500 BC.

The female figure is portrayed from the front, with a round face, large almond-shaped eyes, a curved mouth and an archaic smile. Her hair falls in braids on the sides with rolled earrings. The woman is wrapped in a chiton that crosses her body diagonally. Her feet appear underneath and rest on the integral base, her hands rest on her knees, holding a musical instrument called sistro. In her right hand she carries multiple bracelets on her wrists; the seat has a rectangular opening on each side and the backrest is unmodelled and has a ventilation hole in the head.
