Egyptian wooden sarcophagus mask, Late Period, 664-323 B.C.

Frontal fragment of sarcophagus belonging to the face. The sarcophagi are individualized depending on the period, this face belonged to a sarcophagus of Late Period,  conserving still part of the polychromy and the nails of wood destined to anchor it to the other part of the sarcophagus. It is a beautiful and idealised carving of what looks like a male face.
