Greek-Roman terracotta figure of a God, 100 B.C. – 100 A.D.

Osiris was one of the great Egyptian deities and was worshipped as the god of vegetation, agriculture and fertility. In addition, he used to be represented with real attributes such as the spectrum, the whip, the staff or the white crown of Upper Egypt, flanked by feathers. Osiris later became the god of the dead and access to eternal life and was considered the protector and judge of the deceased.
