This small ivory sculpture represents a head with stylized and simplified features: wedge-shaped nose, incised eyes and eyebrows, pointed pupils, a double row of incised points around the forehead and small pierced ears that protrude. The use of ivory as the material used to make this piece shows that it would be a character of high social rank, capable of affordably acquiring an expensive material to make his portrait.
